This Sprinter van conversion with a driving simulator is a collaboration with a local research university. This project focuses on studying the effects of cannabis and controlled substances on driving abilities. The van allows researchers to conduct extensive offsite meetings with participants in various locations, even allowing them to stay in the comfort of their own homes. Blood tests and urine sampling can be done inside the van in order to analyze quantitative factors of impairment, helping the researchers better understand physical and mental states of drivers under the influence.
